LTO: Fines and Penalties

Did you know that:

1. Driving without a license has a fine of P750? Whereas if you fail to show or surrender license or fail to carry driver's license, the fine is only P150? Likewise, if you are driving with a delinquent, invalid, suspended ineffectual of revoked license, the fine is P300? So if you have an expired license, it would be cheaper if you just tell the apprehending officer that you just left your license at home! hehehehehe 

2. There is a violation and a corresponding fine of P150 if you are driving a vehicle with metallic wheels?
No, this doesn't mean that if you have aftermarket mags, you can be fined. If you do drive however with no tires, then you will be fined!

3. You can be fined P150 if you fail to give way to an overtaking vehicle or increase your speed when being overtaken before the overtaking vehicle has completely passed. So when being overtaken, give way - it is the LAW and as common courtesy as well.

nag-aapply ba to sa makati? parang iba kasi lagi rules dun eh. last akong nahuli dun parang mas mahal yung fines for the same violations...

alam ko bro, LTO toh... so dapat sakop makati AFAIK... yung sa makati, lam ko MMDA yung "bawal" dun...
check ko din rules ng MMDA naman...

well, suggestion ko nga mag print out kayo ng list of fines and penalties.... para si mamang bopol, pag hinuli kayo, sabihin nyo, di nyo lang dala license nyo... tapos pakita mo yung difference....

naku hindi ako nagdidikit neto sa windshield. hehe. ang tanong ko, lahat ba ng rules dyan alam ng mga authorities? kasi hindi pa naman ako nahuhuli dahil dyan kahit kailan.

AFAIK, eto ata nongning revo is pag wala ka pang plaka tapos tinanggal mo din conduction sticker... ata ah...
yung conduction sticker naman kasi, technically, mula planta ata papuntang show room or casa lang talaga dapat... but since medyo may kabagalan yung LTO sa pag labas ng plaka, "pinapayagan" nila tapos may "registered but no plates available"... kaya as soon as makuha mo na plaka mo, pwede mo nang tanggalin conduction sticker...

tanong lang po. tinitikitan paba yung driving without license? pano po yung mangyayari dun kungyari hindi po nyo dala license nyo po? ano po yung gagawin nila?? saan po mag babayad?

thanks sa mga information sir.. ..pero primary concern ko sir and siguro na rin ng iba,sana maglagay ng mga more road signs,specially kung meron mga rerouting.. ...last november 13 ng gabi nahuli ako sa me bandang manila city hall going to quiapo bridge,bigla kasi akong nalito dun sa me bagong railings na stainless(bawal pala pumasok dun)so instead na magbayad ako ng 750pesos sa ticket,nagbigay na lang ako ng 500pesos dun sa humuli sa akin..pero ouch sa 500pesos..

renewal fee-  php417.00  for non pro and pro (same fee)
medical drugtest - 400.00
effective today.

from p217.oo  to p417.oo.
sayang sa mga hindi pa nag papa renew.

hint... baka by dec. they will apply the neuro-psychiatric exam.
additional fees ulet.

nagpa renew ako last week P300 yung drug test + P50 medical (eye check). then yung license renewal P247
buti umabot ako sa mura
